Andrew Fyson and Robert Newton, pictured above, came to Denman in 2005 to live near nature in a friendly island community.
Andrew is a biologist, photographer and singer. He has worked as Land Manager for the Denman Conservancy Association and is involved in many local volunteer activities. Robert is an art historian by education. He plays the violin and organizes an annual series of professional concerts by Concerts Denman.
With much help from many other volunteers, Robert, Andrew and other members of an industrious committee have organised the Denman Baroque Festival and Workshop under the auspices of Denman Early Music, a committee of Arts Denman.
